Liverpool Football Club have lost for the fourth time in a row in the league and team captain Virgil Van Dijk is disappointed with the team’s results.

The Reds suffered their fourth loss in the league in a row after losing 3-2 to Brentford at the G-Tech Community Stadium. Liverpool had lost to Man United, Chelsea and Crystal Palace in the prior games.

Despite Milos Kerkez scoring his debut goal for Liverpool and Mohamed Salah ending a mini goal drought, Liverpool conceded goals via another long throw-in and a counter attack.

Speaking to Liverpool media after the game, Van Dijk said the latest loss was difficult to take but admitted that it is the reality Liverpool have to deal with.

“Disappointed. Disappointed for losing here. We know obviously what their strengths were and what they obviously look to try to do. The first goal is something obviously we knew, so we have to be spot on in that – it’s a quality of them.”

“It was just a very disappointing night overall for us. It’s tough to take but it’s the reality and we have to keep going” Van Dijk said.
