Newly appointed head coach of Nations FC, Stephen Frimpong Manso, believes he can improve the Ghana Premier League team.
He said this in his first official interview as the club’s new head coach after replacing Kassim Mingle Ocansey in the lead tactician role for the Abrankese-based club. (Click highlighted text to read full story)
Frimpong Manso led Bibiani Gold Stars to win the 2024-2025 Ghana Premier League title but was shockingly dismissed after Gold Stars’ 2-0 loss to Algeria’s JS Kabylie in the first leg of the CAF Champions League.
The former Kotoko head coach will be assisted by Aboagye Dacosta on the touchline and he believes the team will improve under him.
“For me, I think we’ve seen a lot of things here and we believe we can work to also improve the team.”

“We’ve come also to do our part to make sure [that] where the team has reached, we will also try to make a mark here at Nations. In away [matches], we’ve played three games without a goal so those are the concerns we also have to make sure we improve” Frimpong Manso said to the club’s media.

Nations FC take on Bechem United on Friday, October 31 in Bechem at 15:00 GMT in Frimpong Manso’s first game in charge of Nations.
