Football legend Wayne Rooney has branded Ghana midfielder Mohammed Kudus as the best signing Tottenham made this offseason.
Rooney spoke these lavish words on the Black Stars player after Kudus scored the winning goal in Tottenham Hotspurs 2-1 win over Leeds United at Elland Road.
Kudus assisted Mathys Tel to score Spurs’ first goal in the win which improves the Ghanaian’s tally to four assists in seven league games.
The goal is Kudus’ first for the club since joining the team from West Ham United ahead of the start of the season and Rooney believes that the former Ajax Amsterdam player offers something different.
“Kudus has made a really good start to his Tottenham career.”

“Spurs have spent a bit of money and now have a lot of strength in depth with plenty of attacking options, but I think Kudus has been the best of their new signings.”

“He’s brought a different aspect to the team, both on and off the ball. He’s an exciting player, quick, strong and works hard” Rooney said as a pundit on the BBC.

Kudus has completed the most dribbles (30) in the league at the time of writing. He has led the league for two straight seasons.
