25 year old Sacramento Kings small forward Keegan Murray has signed a five year extension worth $140 million with the Kings.

Murray, who is entering his fourth season in the NBA, signed the deal that keeps him in Sacramento for the long term with the former University of Iowa player.

The 6 foot 8 inch small forward who can play as a power forward, averaged 12.4 points, 6.7 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 76 games in the regular season in the 2024-2025 campaign.

His contract extension comes on the back of Murray having a lower than expected production after averaging 15. 2 points and 1.7 assists in 77 games in the 2023-2024 campaign.

Murray is dealing with a hand injury and is expected to miss the start of the upcoming season after suffering a torn ulnar collateral ligament in his left thumb during a preseason game.
