Manchester City survived a very exhilarating finish to its English Premier League tie against Fulham as City striker Erling Haaland made history as the fastest player to score 100 goals in the league.

The Norwegian scored in City’s 5-4 win over Fulham at Craven Cottage to reach the century mark of goals in the league. Haaland proceeded to provide two assists in the win. Haaland reached the 100 goal mark in his 111th EPL appearance.

City led 5-1 at the 54th minute mark but conceded three times in 20 minutes but managed to see the game out for the win and in a post-game interview with Sky Sports, City manager, Pep Guardiola, was happy to get the win and keep the pressure on league leaders Arsenal.

“We won 5-4. The game was exceptional until 5-2. Sometimes it can happen because the opponents also play.”
