Tema-based Division Two Football Team, True Life Academy have delivered the biggest shock of the 2025-2026 MTN FA Cup campaign by eliminating multiple time winners Accra Hearts of Oak.

In a game meant to be a straight forward win for Ghana Premier League side Hearts, True Life delivered a shock 1-0 win over the Phobians away from home.

True Life ended up beating Hearts at the latter’s training facility at Pobiman in the Round of 64 stage to progress to the Round of 32 stage. Robert Nartey scored the game’s only goal in the 64th minute.

In a social media post, True Life reflected on the big win over Mas-Ud Didi Dramani’s team by stating,

“A monumental chapter added to our club’s story. With determination, discipline, and an unshakable spirit, the boys delivered a historic victory over Accra Hearts of Oak in the FA Cup Round of 64. “
