Former Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan is leveraging his global profile to bridge football fandom and digital finance, fronting a major World Cup promotion for remittance platform Jupay.

The ex-Sunderland and Al Ain striker has featured prominently in recent weeks, including a widely discussed appearance on Rio Ferdinand’s podcast and a new television commercial for Jupay, reinforcing his relevance beyond his playing career.

As the face of Jupay’s World Cup campaign, Gyan is promoting an initiative that allows eligible users to win World Cup match tickets through a random draw. Users who send a minimum of USD 100 to Ghana via the Jupay app are automatically entered.

The promotion is open to customers in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. The Jupay app is available on both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, with an alternative entry option available via [email protected].
