Newcastle United manager Eddie Howe has commended Manchester City for signing Antoine Semenyo who he describes as a “very good player”.
Howe shared his feelings about Semenyo ahead of Newcastle’s Carabao Cup semifinal game first leg against Man City on Tuesday, January 13 at St. James’ Park at 20:00 GMT.
Semenyo joined Man City from AFC Bournemouth on a 64 million pound five and a half year contract and the Ghana international marked his debut with a goal and an assist in Man City’s 10-1 win over Exeter City in the FA Cup fourth round. (Click highlighted text to read full story)
The 26 year old is in line to play in the Carabao Cup tie despite playing in the tournament for Bournemouth prior and Howe says he is a big admirer of the Black Stars player.

“Antoine’s had an incredible season. I’m a big admirer of his and he scored on his debut, so fair play to him. I think Man City have signed a very, very good player” Howe said according to ESPN.
