Dreams FC and Medeama Sporting Club have been ranked among the best clubs on the continent by Africa’s football governing body, CAF. (Scroll down to view full list of rankings)
The rankings were put together over the course of five years with performance in the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup heavily determining clubs position in the rankings.
Dreams FC competed in the semifinals of the Confederation Cup in the 2023-2024 season while Medeama recently competed in the group stage of the Champions League in the period under review. Medeama ranked 51st while Dreams ranked 26th in the rankings.
Tarkwa-based Medeama are in prime position to return to the Champions League as the Yellow and Mauve occupy first place in the Ghana Premier League at the time of writing.
