Interim Kumasi Asante Kotoko head coach Prince Yaw Owusu says he is the right man to lead the Porcupine Warriors despite losing his first game as head coach.

Prince Owusu was named Kotoko head coach after Abdul Karim Zito resigned from the role following a poor run of results prior to the clash against Hearts.

Kotoko lost 1-0 to archrivals Hearts in the Ghana Premier League played this past weekend at the Baba Yara Stadium with goalkeeper Mohammed Camara directly responsible for the Hearts goal after making a huge blunder.

Speaking after the loss, Prince Owusu criticised Camara and added that even in the face of the loss to the big rival, he was the right man to lead Kotoko till the end of the season. (Scroll down to read full story)

“It- losing to Hearts of Oak-makes it difficult for us to win the league” and in response to a question whether he was the right man to lead the club, Prince Owusu said “yes there’s no two ways about it”.

Kotoko remain fifth in the league after the loss to Hearts.
