Ashanti Region Super Zonals: Event was successful thanks to Regional Minister’s Help- Coordinator [VIDEO]

Chief coordinator and public relations officer of the Ashanti Regional Sports Federation, Samuel Otoo, has praised the efforts of Ashanti Regional Minister Dr. Frank Amoakohene in the successful organization of the 2026 Ashanti Regional Super Zonals competition. (Scroll down to watch video)

Speaking to Citi Sports, the Regional Coordinator shared that Dr. Amoakohene’s role in ensuring that security was beefed up in and around the Baba Yara Stadium to ensure the competition went smoothly was commendable.

In his address, Samuel Otoo provided an update about the nine students arrested during the competition where he stated that the individuals were not students but imposters before praising Dr. Amoakohene. (Click highlighted text to read full story)

“I will thank the Regional Minister for the huge support he gave us for the security.”

“I think a lot went in and we say we thank him very much because we have had a very very successful super zonals for the first time since I’ve been with the federation” Samuel Otoo said.
