In his ninth game since joining Dutch Eredivisie side NAC Breda on a free transfer in January this year, Ghana forward Andre Dede Ayew bagged his debut goal for the club. [Scroll down to watch video]

The veteran player whose potential return to the Black Stars for the 2026 FIFA World Cup has generated intense debate recently, delivered a strong message to the selectors by scoring against Dutch giants Feyenoord.

Dede Ayew’s headed goal in added on time in the first half helped secure a 3-3 draw with Feyenoord with former Tottenham Hotspurs midfielder Lewis Holtby providing the assist.

Fellow Black Stars player Kamal Sowah scored in the 22nd minute to give NAC Breda the equalizer before Dede Ayew put the club in front ahead of the second half.

Veteran forward Dede Ayew was replaced in the 79th minute by Juho Talvitie; the draw against Feyenoord, however, keeps NAC Breda in the relegation zone with the club ranked 17th in the 18 team league standings.
