Austria’s National Men’s Football Team will take on Ghana’s Black Stars on Friday, March 27 in an international friendly game and the European nation’s squad for the big game has been released. (Scroll down to view the full list)
The game also serves as a 2026 FIFA World Cup preparation game as both nations have qualified to compete in the tournament the commences in June.
Ghana take on England, Panama and Croatia in Group L while Austria has been drawn in Group J with Jordan, Algeria and Argentina.
The Austrian side is headlined by Borussia Dortmund duo of Carney Chukwuemeka and Marcel Sabitzer; Chukwuemeka, who is on loan from Chelsea at Dortmund, recently switched his international commitment from England to Austria.

Konrad Laimer of Bayern Munich, Kevin Danso of Tottenham Hotspurs, Real Madrid defender David Alaba and veteran forward Marco Arnautovic of Red Star Belgrade have been named in the squad.

At the time of writing, Ghana head coach Otto Addo is yet to announce his squad for the first of two friendlies; Ghana is scheduled to play Germany on March 30.
