Real Madrid head coach Alvaro Arbeloa slammed the decision by referee Alejandro Muniz to dismiss midfielder Franco Mastantuono from Real Madrid’s game against Getafe.
Real Madrid lost 1-0 to Getafe at home in a shock result that put the club four points behind league leaders FC Barcelona with 12 games remaining in the league.
Argentine midfielder Mastantuono got sent off in the 95th minute with Getafe’s Adrian Liso in the loss and after stating that the club won’t give up the title chase, Alvaro Arbeloa zeroed in on the red card incident stating in a presser that, (Click highlighted text to read full story)
“These are things that shouldn’t happen, like Mastantuono’s. I don’t know exactly what he said to the referee, but if he was sent off, it must have been for a reason. We can’t have these kinds of actions.”

Real Madrid have another tough league outing against Celta Vigo on Friday, March 6 before taking on Manchester City in the UEFA Champions League on March 11.
