Manchester United defender Harry Maguire and Leeds United striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin have been named in England’s National Men’s Football Team ahead of international friendly games later this month.
Thomas Tuchel’s team take on Uruguay and Japan on March 27 and March 31 ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup where the Three Lions have been drawn in Group L with Ghana, Croatia and Panama.
Ghana’s Black Stars are scheduled to take on Austria and Germany in similar pre-World Cup friendly games on March 27 and March 30.
Maguire and Calvert-Lewin make their return to the Three Lions on the back of improved play for Manchester United and Leeds United after long absences.
Standout names who were named in the squad include Manchester City defender John Stones and AC Milan defender Fikayo Tomori who returns to the squad since 2018. Stones recently returned to action for Man City after overcoming his latest battle with significant injuries.

In midfield, Real Madrid’s Jude Bellingham was included in the squad with Everton’s James Garner also included with Brentford’s Jordan Henderson retaining his place and Man United’s Kobbie Mainoo’s making the cut.

However, Real Madrid defender Trent Alexander-Arnold was not included in the squad. Scroll down to view full list
