Manager of AFC Bournemouth Andoni Iraola will step down at the end of the 2025-2026 season.

The club confirmed the development in a statement released on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, with the Spaniard’s departure set to take effect in June, bringing an end to his three-year spell in charge after arriving from Rayo Vallecano.

During his tenure, Iraola guided Bournemouth to 12th- and 9th-place finishes, and currently has the team sitting 11th in the Premier League standings. The Cherries are also on an impressive 12-game unbeaten run, capped by a 2-1 win over Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.

Bournemouth chairman Bill Foley has praised Iraola’s impact, commending his work and contribution to the club’s recent progress.

“Andoni has been instrumental in shaping the direction of this football club over the past three seasons. He brought intensity, innovation, and a clear philosophy that elevated AFC Bournemouth both on and off the pitch.”
