Daniel Laryea recently took charge of Nigeria’s semi-final clash against Morocco at the 2025 AFCON, a performance that sharply divided opinion.
In the final of the same tournament, Jean-Jacques Ndala officiated the game between Morocco and Senegal, drawing widespread criticism for his display.

Ndala wasn’t also included in the World Cup referees list. Scroll down to view the full list of officials for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. (Click highlighted text to read full story)
