Medeama SC head coach Ibrahim Tanko says the club’s preparation for its MTN FA Cup semifinal clash against Dreams FC will be a “serious one”.
He made this clear in a pre-game briefing to the club’s media ahead of the semifinal game on Friday, April 17 in Swedru.
The Mauve and Yellow hold a two point lead in the Ghana Premier League standings and are on track to win the league and cup double this season.
Medeama are coming off a hard fought 3-0 win over Access Bank Division One side Attram De Visser; all three Medeama goals were scored by Kelvin Nkrumah in extra time.
Friday’s clash sets up two Ghana Premier League clubs against each other and Ibrahim Tanko believes his team is approaching the tie with all seriousness.
“Attram De Visser was a really really good opponent for us and I don’t think we are going to take this one [against Dreams FC] differently…so definitely the preparation is going to be a very very serious one.”

“We are first in the Premier League, we are playing in the semifinals in the FA Cup so we are going to do everything possible to reach the finals” Ibrahim Tanko said.
