Basketball superstar LeBron James seemingly blamed himself for the Los Angeles Lakers’ first loss in the 2025-2026 NBA playoffs.
The 41 year old cited his turnovers as one of the main reasons for the Lakers’ 96-115 loss to the Houston Rockets in Game 4 of their best of seven game series.
The Lakers walked into Game 4 needing a win to progress to the second round after winning the first three games in the series.
After playing brilliantly in the series, LeBron James had a poor outing in Game 4 after registering just 10 points and nine assists and committed eight turnovers.
Addressing the media after the loss, LeBron took responsibility for the loss as the Lakers prepare for Game 5 in Los Angeles on Thursday, April 30.

“It started with me, obviously. My turnovers were unacceptable. Defense wasn’t our problem tonight. It was our offense” LeBron James said.

The Lakers’ Deandre Ayton and Abdou Thiero were among three players ejected from the game.
