Manchester City winger Jeremy Doku was left to lament about his team’s inability to win its crucial English Premier League tie against Everton at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Man City drew 3-3 with the Toffees after taking an early lead through the first of two goals from the Belgian international with his second coming in the 97th minute to rescue a point for Pep Guardiola’s team.
The draw meant that City trail league leaders Arsenal by five points having played a game fewer than the Gunners. Arsenal have three games left to play in the 2025-2026 season.
Reflecting on the missed opportunity to close the gap on Arsenal in a post-game interview with Sky Sports, Doku said that,
“First half we played well and created a lot of chances. We know if we don’t score those chances it is going to get difficult at the end”.

“Obviously, they are at their own stadium, they create chances, and they are dangerous, and they scored two goals, but I think we gave them the game.”
