Accra Hearts of Oak head coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani has praised his side’s execution following their latest win in the 2025–2026 Ghana Premier League season.
Hearts edged Nations FC 1-0, with Mawuli Wayo scoring the decisive goal to move the Phobians within touching distance of second-placed Bibiani Gold Stars.
Gold Stars remain on 51 points after their 2-0 loss to leaders Medeama, while Hearts have closed the gap with 49 points. Nations FC captain Razak Simpson missed a penalty in the defeat.
Speaking in a post-match interview with the club’s media, Dramani welcomed the result but stressed the need for better decision-making from his team.
“Nations are one of the formidable sides in terms of their transitional play and direct football so we really knew that we were going to do deal with more of direct balls.”

“They don’t build up most of the time from goal kicks, they just put the ball in behind and they go in for the second balls these were that we really worked on and I think that the boys did exactly what we expected” Didi Dramani said.
