Argentina head coach Lionel Scaloni has described his team as a unique group after the defending World Champions delivered another remarkable comeback.
After storming back from a 2-0 deficit to win 3-2 against Egypt in the round of 32 stage, Argentina came back from a goal down to beat England 2-1 to qualify to the 2026 FIFA World Cup Final.
Enzo Fernandez and Lautaro Martinez scored in the 85th and 92nd minute respectively to give Argentina the win with both goals assisted by Lionel Messi.
Argentina gets the chance to win its second World Cup in a row when they take on Spain in the final on Sunday, July 19.
Speaking in a post-game interview, Scaloni was lost for words after seeing his team deliver another brilliant late performance.

“We are truly unique, and that’s not arrogance. From the bottom of my heart, these players led us to victory. I’m lost for words. A joy for our country, for our people” Scaloni said.
