VfL Osnabrück head coach Timo Schultz says he is delighted to have the opportunity to work with Daniel-Kofi Kyereh again.
Schultz made the comments after Kyereh joined the German Bundesliga 2 side as a free agent following his departure from Bundesliga club SC Freiburg after an injury-hit spell. The pair previously worked together at St. Pauli, where Kyereh enjoyed an impressive spell, scoring 12 goals and providing 10 assists.
Kyereh expressed confidence that their reunion will be successful during his first official interview with Osnabrück. Schultz also praised Kyereh’s quality and believes the Ghana international can make a positive impact at the club.
“From our collaboration, I know what special qualities Kofi [Kyereh] possesses as a footballer and as a person. I am all the more pleased that we are now working together again.”

“He was an absolute game-changer at St. Pauli and earned his achievements there through his footballing class, but also through a great deal of hard work.”
