Two games into the 2026-2027 English Premier League season, Liverpool have picked up yet another draw.
After drawing 2-2 in their season opener against Newcastle United at St. Jame’s Park in the opening round of games, Liverpool drew 2-2 at Anfield with Nottingham Forest.
Forest took the lead in the game twice before Isak and new signing Victor Munoz scored for Liverpool who are also searching for their first win under new manager Andoni Iraola.
Missing out on a win again led to widespread frustration from Liverpool supporters but striker Isak believes the team’s outcome in games will improve.
“It’s been good, there is always time to get used to a new style. We are really working hard to try to play the game he wants us to play, when we start doing that better I have no doubt the results will come as well”.

“That’s the job ultimately as a striker, I am very happy to score the first one. Every striker wants to score every game he plays” Isak said.
