The Black Stars will depart Accra for Côte d’Ivoire on Wednesday, September 23, ahead of their 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Group C qualifier against the Elephants.
Ghana will travel to Bouaké for the crucial encounter, scheduled for Thursday, September 24, 2026.
The team has been in camp in Accra since Monday and has held intensive training sessions at the Accra Sports Stadium. Eighteen players took part in Tuesday’s session as preparations continued for the trip.

The technical team is expected to hold a final training session in Bouaké on Wednesday ahead of Thursday’s game.
Ghana’s preparations for the opening two games of the 2027 AFCON qualifiers have been hit by injuries, with a number of key players set to miss the crucial fixtures against Côte d’Ivoire and The Gambia.
The Black Stars will be without several key players, including Mohammed Kudus, Thomas Partey, Abdul Baba Rahman, Jordan Ayew, Alidu Seidu, and Antoine Semenyo, who have all been ruled out of the current international assignment.
Their absence leaves Head Coach Carlos Queiroz with the option of turning to other players as replacements ahead of the two crucial fixtures.
