Haaland’s goals made him City’s all-time leading goal scorer in the Champions League with 36 goals, tying him with Sergio Aguero. This is Haaland’s fifth season at the club.

The former Borussia Dortmund striker also registered his 59^th goal in his 59^th Champions League game, which moved him to seventh place on the all-time goal scorers list.

“Erling Haaland is an animal, a beast. Every time I’m on the pitch, I’m going to look for him and hopefully I can give him many more assists and he can score goals like that” Fernandez said in an interview with Amazon Prime.

Fernandez joined City on the final day of the transfer window for a record 125 million pounds from Chelsea.
