Portugal head coach Jorge Jesus says Cristiano Ronaldo could return to the national team, but the decision ultimately rests with the Al-Nassr striker.
Portugal are still dealing with the fallout from Ronaldo’s departure from camp after his reported disagreement with Jesus over playing time. Since Ronaldo left the squad, Portugal have beaten Norway and Denmark, with AC Milan striker Gonçalo Ramos scoring in both matches.
After the win over Norway, Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Vitinha said Portugal “took a step forward in attack”, but Jesus says the door remains open for Ronaldo should the veteran striker decide to return. (Click highlighted text to read full story)
