WNBA player Angel Reese has set her sights on the WNBA title after leading the Atlanta Dream to their first Finals appearance since 2013, insisting that reaching the championship series is not enough.
The Dream swept the New York Liberty 3-0 in their best-of-five semifinal series, sealing their place in the finals with an 85-83 win in Game 3.
Atlanta will face the Golden State Valkyries, who eliminated defending champions Las Vegas Aces, in the finals.
Despite her excitement at reaching the WNBA Finals for the first time, Reese remains focused on winning the title after a strong run of performances against the Liberty.
“We’re definitely happy about where we are right now, but we’re not satisfied. We can’t shy away from knowing that we did put a lot of work to get to this moment. I’m really proud of this group.”

“The job is not done. I think we just continue to push every single day, get back to work” Reese said.

Reese was recently named the WNBA Defensive Player of the Year.
