Zylofon Cash PL Week 15: Medeama stay top, Kotoko beat Aduana

In Round 15 of the Zylofon Cash Premier League, Medeama Sporting Club kept their place at the top of the Zylofon Cash Premier League after drawing 1-1 with Hearts of Oak in Cape Coast.

The Yellow and Mauves went down to an Aboubacar Traore goal in the 37th minute but they kept pushing until they got a 90th minute equaliser from Tahir Awudu.

Kotoko got 2-1 home win over Aduana Stars to end their first round on a winning note. Yacouba Sogne scored twice for the Reds in the 7th and 48th minutes while Sam Adams pulled one back for the defending league champions in the 67th minute.

In Bechem, Bechem United beat WAFA 2-1 at the Nana Gyeabour Park.

Hafiz Mohammed and Hafiz Wontah Konkoni got the goals for the home team while Umar Basiru scored for WAFA. For Konkoni, the goal was 8th of the season so far.

Elmina Sharks and Liberty Professionals played out a 1-1 draw at the Ndoum Stadium.

On-loan forward, Yakubu Mohammed scored a penalty for Sharks in the 31st minute after Tamimu Muntari found the net for Liberty Professionals in the 19th minute.

In Wa, a Maxwell Oppong goal in the 41st minute settled the tie in favour of All Stars against Eleven Wonders.

Berekum Chelsea beat AshGold 1-o thanks to a Stephen Amankona goal in the first half and Karela FC beat Inter Allies 2-1 in Aiyinase.

Abdul Ganiyu put Karela 1-0 up in the 8th minute with a penalty but Paul Abanga responded with a penalty of his own in the 35th minute.

In the 87th minute, William Opoku Mensah rose to head home the winner from the corner.

On Saturday, Dreams FC and Ebusua Dwarfs drew 1-1. Leonard Owusu scored for Dreams FC and Michael Ohene Asamoah got the goal for Dwarfs.
