Ghanaian striker Majeed Waris has joined 13-time Cypriot champions, Anorthosis Famagusta on a two-year contract.

He joins the club on a free transfer after parting ways with French club RB Strasbourg last month
“Anorthosis Famagusta announces the signing of a contract with footballer Abdul Majeed Waris. The agreement lasts until the summer of 2024.
“We welcome the footballer to our team and wish him every success with the “Phoenix” on his chest,” Anorthosis Famagusta announced.
The 30-year-old is in contention to make his debut for Anorthosis on Saturday when they face Pafos in the Greek league.
Waris has previously played for Trabzonspor, Porto, Valencia, Lorient, and Nantes, among other clubs.
