Reigning Ghana Premier League champions, Kumasi Asante Kotoko have mutually parted ways with Burkinabe trainer, Seydou Zerbo.

Kotoko announced the decision via their Twitter handle on Monday morning in the aftermath of the club’s loss to fellow BetPawa Premier League side, Medeama Sporting Club at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium over the weekend.

The 59-year-old was appointed back in August last year as the replacement for title-winning Head Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum who resigned from his position prior to the start of the 2022/23 season.

The Porcupine Warriors currently sit 7th on the league standings with 34 points, accumulating two wins in their last 5 games.

Kumasi Asante Kotoko take on Legon Cities next at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in the match week 24 fixture, with Coach Abdul Gazelle tasked to take charge as the acting Head Coach.
