Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey is heavily expected to leave Arsenal Football Club at the conclusion of the 2023-2024 season.

This is according to Daily Mirror Football Reporter Ryan Taylor who reported the latest news linking the Ghanaian star to a move from the Emirates Stadium.

Partey has been battling for fitness all season long and his latest injury, a thigh strain, has kept him out of action for two months.

Photos and videos of Partey training have surfaced online raising hopes that Partey would be back in action very soon and even in the high profile game between Arsenal and Liverpool.

However, Arteta confirmed Partey suffered a setback in training ahead of Arsenal’s 3-1 win over Liverpool in London this past weekend.

Partey has excelled in just four appearances for The Gunners as a defensive midfielder and as a right full back and has just zero goals and assists this season.

The former Atletico Madrid player is in the fourth year of a five year deal that is set to expire in June 2025.

Partey missed Ghana’s 2023 AFCON campaign due to injury; Ghana crashed out of the competition in the first round without a win.
