Germany’s Ambassador to Ghana, Daniel Krull, has expressed his admiration for former Black Stars players Anthony Yeboah and Samuel Osei Kuffuor, reminiscing about their impactful performances in the German Bundesliga.

Krull shared these thoughts in an exclusive interview with ChannelONE Sports during a watch party at his residence, where Germany triumphed over Scotland 5-1 in the opening game played at the Allianz Arena.

The event was attended by notable figures such as Anthony Baffoe, who is now the General Secretary for the Professional Footballers Association of Ghana and former Black Stars Head Coach, Charles Akonnor, who also played in Germany.

Krull praised the contributions of Yeboah and Kuffuor to their respective teams, highlighting their significant influence.

I think of Anthony Yeboah, was once the top-scorer of the German Bundesliga, they are heroes in Germany.

Sammy Kuffour, did so many big things in the league for Bayern Munich, they added some important vibes to the German Bundesliga.

Kuffour had immense fans during his playing days and they are big.

Anthony Yeboah is best remembered for his tenure with European clubs 1. FC Saarbrücken, Eintracht Frankfurt, Leeds United, and Hamburger SV in the 1990s.

He was also one of the pioneering black players in the Bundesliga.
