Swedish trainer, Kim Björkegren, has been appointed the head coach of Ghana’s National Women’s Football Team-the Black Queens.

Hauptle moved to African powerhouse Zambia after qualifying Ghana to the 2025 Women’s AFCON that takes place in Morocco from July 5 to July 26.

43 year old Björkegren is an experienced coach who has worked with clubs in China, Sweden, Cyprus and the United States of America.
