Corporate League Fixtures this upcoming Weekend

The UG Corporate Football League returns from its mid-season break today, Friday, May 2, 2025, and the stage is set for a thrilling day of football action at the University of Ghana Stadium.

The energy is back, and the teams are ready to pick up from where they left off, with everything still to play for as we approach the business end of the season.

 

In the outstanding Group A fixture, Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) will lock horns with The Union Ghana. This clash is one many have been looking forward to, as both sides are eager to make a statement and climb the table. With top-level talent on display and pressure mounting, expect a game filled with intensity, tactics, and flair.

National Petroleum Authority v Lancaster Accra

Over in Group B, there’s even more drama in store. Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) will take on Central Administration in what promises to be a fast-paced encounter between two evenly matched sides. Forestry Commission faces a solid Bui Power Authority side in a contest that could go either way depending on the day’s momentum.

Stanbic Bank will be hoping to assert dominance as they go up against the ever-determined Zenith Bank, while Lancaster Accra will battle it out with National Petroleum Authority in a fixture that carries pride, points, and positioning implications.

Corporate League Fixtures this Friday

With all fixtures kicking off at 5 PM at the University of Ghana Stadium, fans are in for an evening of entertainment, camaraderie, and passionate football. The teams have had time to regroup and strategize during the break, and now it’s time to see which sides will rise to the occasion and which ones will struggle to keep up.

The league is brought to you by the University of Ghana Sports and Wellness Directorate and RITE Sports Services, and supported by Glico General Insurance, Viggo Energy, Socaloca, and the Ghana Football Association.
