Nungua Coldstore Basketball Club Shooting Guard Daniel Attoh has stated that the aim of the club is to dominate the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division I in the 2025 season.

He said this in an exclusive chat with Citi Sports on the sidelines of a training session in the lead up to the big matchup between Coldstore and big rivals Spintex Knights.

The upcoming game takes place on Saturday, May 18 at 18:00 GMT at the El-Wak Stadium in the first matchup between the top two teams in the league this season after facing off in the 2024 finals.

“We actually want to take the first place…we actually want to dominate the league this season. We just want nothing but the first place that’s what we want” Attoh said.

Attoh’s comments reflected Coldstore head coach Joy Ofori’s belief that this is the best time for the team to beat their old rivals. (Click highlighted text to read full story)
