Black Queens head coach Kim Lars Bjorkegren is sure his team will win its all important game against Tanzania on Monday, July 14 at 19:00 GMT.

Ghana’s National Women’s Football Team’s game against Tanzania is its final Group C tie in this year’s CAF Women’s AFCON campaign with both nations needing a win to progress to the quarterfinals.

The Black Queens have just a point from two games after losing 2-0 to South Africa and drawing 1-1 with Mali in outings but Kim Bjorkegren is sure his team will pick up its first win in the tournament.

“We know that we have the potential to go all the way in this tournament and I still believe in the players; I think we have played pretty well in both games so far even with [us getting] only one point so I’m looking forward to the game. I’m sure that we are going to win this game.”

Ghana is aiming to qualify beyond the group stage for the first time since 2016.
