Spain National Under 21 player Cristhian Mosquera has officially signed for Arsenal Football Club from Spanish side Valencia continuing a busy offseason for the Gunners.
Mosquera, who is a product of the Valencia Academy, had been with the club since age 12 and featured in multiple age category competitions over the years before making his first team debut in 2022 and made 90 appearances in all competitions for the Spanish La Liga side.
The five year deal for the Spanish player of Colombian descent is for a reported fee of 13 million pounds that could rise to 20 million pounds should certain clauses be met.
Speaking on the latest signing for the club, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta believes that Mosquera’s quality can help the club stating,

“As a 21-year-old defender, Cristhian has already performed consistently well with significant experience in La Liga. He is an intelligent player with good pace, who can play centrally and on both sides.”

Arsenal are close to signing Swedish striker Viktor Gyokeres at the time of writing.
