Ghana midfielder Mohammed Gadafi Fuseini has signed a contract extension with Belgian Jupiler Pro League Champions Royale Union-Saint Gilloise.
The Belgian club announced the three year contract extension on Friday, August 15 and included in the deal is an optional year that could keep him at Royale Union-Saint Gilloise till 2029.
The development puts to bed at least momentarily, reports linking Fuseini with a move from Belgium to clubs in the French Ligue 1.
Union-Saint Gilloise congratulated the Black Stars player in the announcement regarding the contract extension three games into the 2025-2026 season.
In the present campaign, Saint Gilloise have two wins and a draw in three games ahead of a matchup against Standard Liege on Saturday, August 15 at 18:45 GMT.

Fuseini in his debut season, scored 11 goals and added three assists in 44 games in all competitions helping the club win the 2024-2025 league title.

The 23 year old recently played for Ghana’s National Men’s Football Team, the Black Stars, in the Unity Cup and scored in his debut game in a 4-0 win over Trinidad and Tobago.
