Chelsea produced a ruthless performance at the London Stadium as they hammered West Ham United 5-1 in today’s Premier League clash.

Lucas Paquetá gave the Hammers a dream start in the 6th minute with a thunderous left-footed strike from outside the box, leaving Robert Sánchez with no chance. But Chelsea roared back in style, led by their new-look attacking unit.

João Pedro equalised in the 15th minute with a close-range header before setting up Pedro Neto in the 23rd minute to put the Blues ahead.

Enzo Fernández extended the lead to 3-1 in the 34th minute, slotting home from close range after brilliant work from Estêvão.

West Ham thought they had levelled earlier through Niclas Füllkrug, but VAR intervened to rule out the strike for offside.

The second half was all Chelsea as they turned dominance into goals. Moisés Caicedo made it 4-1 in the 54th minute with a well-placed shot from a corner before Trevoh Chalobah pounced four minutes later to add a fifth, sealing an emphatic victory for the visitors.

Despite some late chances for James Ward-Prowse, Callum Wilson, and Nayef Aguerd, West Ham couldn’t find a way past Sánchez in goal.

Chelsea, meanwhile, continued to threaten, with Neto, João Pedro, and substitute Andrey Santos keeping the pressure on until the final whistle.

The result hands Chelsea a statement win in the Premier League while piling more pressure on West Ham, who struggled to contain the Blues’ pace and creativity throughout the encounter.
