After quite a wait, Ghana midfielder Mohammed Kudus has scored his first goal in a Tottenham Hotspurs jersey.
Since joining Spurs in the offseason, Kudus has had to wait a while to score his first goal for Tottenham but finally, he is off the mark.
The 25 year old scored what turned out to be the winning goal in the 57th minute when his shot off a run into Leeds’ half nestled into the left side of the net.
Prior to the goal, Kudus had registered his fourth assist in seven league games when his pass to Mathys Tel was finished off by the French international in the 23rd minute.
After having to wait for a while for his debut Spurs goal, Kudus was excited to get off the mark.
“I’ve definitely been waiting [for my first Tottenham goal]. As an attacker it boosts your confidence when you score.

“I want to give my team-mate [Mathys Tel] some credit. I am a big fan of how he trains and how he has kept on going. We now go to represent our country and come back with the same focus. This is a big step in the right direction” he said according to TNT Sports.
