After quite some wait, Manchester United forward Matheus Cunha has finally scored his first goal for the club since joining from Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The 26 year old Brazilian scored Man United’s first in a 4-2 win over Brighton and Hove Albion at Old Trafford. Fellow recently signed Man United players Bryan Mbeumo and Benjamin Sesko got in on the act.
Mbuemo scored twice while Sesko provided an assist in the win which is the first time Man United have won three games in a row under Ruben Amorim.
Speaking after the game to the BBC after the game, the Brazilian said that getting his first Man United goal was something he had dreamt about.
“It is hard to say something now. I have worked so hard for this.”

“I feel so good to be part of this. My first goal here at Old Trafford, I dreamed a lot of this but of course the win is much more important.”

“This is a club that needs to be in these kind of positions and I hope we can continue like this to finish the season where we want” Cunha said.
