England’s Men’s National Football Team concluded its 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification campaign with a 2-0 win over Albania having secured its place in next year’s tournament in the previous round.

A brace from Harry Kane in the 74th and 82nd minute sealed the expected win for the Three Lions who topped Group K with a commanding 10 point gap over second ranked Albania.

However, the biggest talking point in the game came in the 84th minute when Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham angrily reacted to getting substituted for Morgan Rogers.

Speaking to the BBC after the game, England manager indicated that having the right behaviour is important to him while stating that he would review Bellingham’s actions.

“I don’t want to make more out of it but I stick to my words – ‘behaviour is key’ and respect towards the team-mates who come in. Decisions are made and you have to accept it as a player.”

“I have to review it. I saw he was not happy, I don’t want to make it bigger at the moment than it is. My words stand, we are about standards, level and commitment to each other and respect to each other. We will not change or decision just because someone waves their arms.”
