Manager of YouTuber turned professional boxer Jake Paul, Nakisa Bidarian, is backing his man to score a shock win over former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua.
Paul and Joshua are scheduled to face off on December 19 at the Kaseya Centre in Miami in a heavyweight division boxing bout.
The fight was put together after Paul’s fight against welterweight contender Gervonta Davis was called off due to Davis’ legal troubles.
Conditions for the fight include Joshua not weighing over 245 pounds and the bout running over the course of eight rounds rather than the widely known set of 10 or 12 rounds.
Jake Paul has competed in the cruiserweight division since becoming a professional boxer and has to overcome huge odds to score the win over Joshua but his manager Nakisa Bidarian is backing his man by stating in an interview with the BBC that,

“I don’t think it’s reckless in any way shape or form. Jake’s in a much better position than a lot of fights which happen in boxing on a regular basis. I think he has a great shot.”

“AJ is big, strong, but slower. He’s more vulnerable to Jake’s movement. In my mind this is more sanctionable than many fights in the sport of boxing.”

Joshua is reportedly set to be paid an amount of 50 million pounds for the fight.
