Dominic Calvert-Lewin says he is hungry to score more goals as he eyes a return to the England National Men’s Football Team.

This statement comes after Calvert-Lewin scored in Leeds United’s 3-1 win over Nottingham Forest in the English Premier League.

The English forward made an improvised finish by directing a cross into the net with his chest after making a run into the penalty box.

The goal against Forest was Calvert-Lewin’s tenth of the 2025-2026 season which places him in line for a return to Thomas Tuchel’s Three Lions for the first time since 2021 who stated to the BBC prior to the game that,

“There’s still six or seven games between now and March. A lot can happen…you could say for me the pinnacle would be getting back into the England team and being in the World Cup squad.”

Speaking to the club’s media after Leeds’ win over Nottingham, Calvert-Lewin doubled down on his England’s quest saying,

“I think when you go into any season, double figures is what you have got to aim for as a number nine in this league.”

“So, it is nice to obviously hit that milestone at the moment but I am hungry for more. I am striving every day to improve and just keep scoring more goals.”
