Paris Saint-Germain manager Luis Enrique says his side is determined to overcome Bayern Munich and secure a return to the UEFA Champions League Final.
He made the remarks at a press conference ahead of the first-leg semi-final clash on Tuesday, April 28, in France.
PSG booked their place in the last four with a dominant 4-0 aggregate win over Liverpool FC, while Bayern advanced after edging Real Madrid 6-4 on aggregate in a tightly contested quarter-final.
Luis Enrique praised Bayern’s attacking quality but was clear about PSG’s ambition heading into the tie, stressing that his team is focused on reaching the final.
“I like all of their [Bayern] players, and Vincent Kompany is a top manager. Bayern are one of the teams that I enjoy watching the most because they’re always on the attack.”

“In terms of consistency, Bayern are perhaps slightly above us because they’ve only lost two games, but in terms of what we’ve shown, there’s no team better than us. We’re not here to negotiate; we want to win” Enrique said.
