Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) head coach Luis Enrique delivered a dismissive assessment of his team’s advantage heading into its clash against Bayern Munich.
PSG take on German side Bayern on Wednesday, May 6 in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League semifinals with the French club leading the tie 5-4 from the first leg.
Enrique’s side double as the defending champions and are aiming to repeat as winners of the prestigious competition.
Speaking ahead of the game at a presser, Enrique didn’t place much importance on his team’s advantage by stating that,
“When you play this kind of match, against this kind of opposition, who are without doubt the strongest team we have played against, the first thing I want to transmit to the players is that we have a one goal advantage, but that is nothing in football.”

“We admire Bayern, but that admiration drives us to be better.”
