Presbyterian Boys’ Secondary School (PRESEC) and Accra Academy will renew one of Ghana’s biggest secondary school football rivalries in the curtain-raiser of the 2026 All Star Festival (ASF26), organisers, The BAC Group, have announced.

The highly anticipated clash will kick off the two-day festival at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium, setting the stage for one of Ghana’s biggest off-season football events.
Held under the theme “The ASF26 Experience,” this year’s festival will run from Friday, July 10 to Saturday, July 11, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. each day. Organisers have expanded the event beyond football, introducing a Family Day concept featuring a dedicated Kids’ Play Zone and a business convocation.

The PRESEC, Accra Academy fixture is expected to rekindle one of Ghana’s oldest and most celebrated school football rivalries, attracting alumni, students and football fans ahead of the festival’s main attractions.
Organisers expect more than 10,000 people to attend the event, with food vendors, fashion brands, creative businesses and sports stakeholders forming part of an expanded commercial village at the venue.
The additions are aimed at making ASF26 a destination event for families, entertaining children while parents enjoy football and other activities in a safe environment.
