Former Black Stars captain Stephen Appiah has confirmed he will feature in the fifth edition of the All Star Festival, set for Saturday, July 11, 2026, at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.
Speaking ahead of the event, Appiah praised the festival’s consistency and credited the organisers for building an event that continues to attract football legends and excite fans.
He said the continued participation of former players reflects the respect the festival has earned within the football community.
“Every year, the players keep showing up. That means they are happy with what is being done and enjoy being part of it. This year, I will definitely be there. It’s always a great atmosphere, and it’s an opportunity to connect with the fans and fellow players.”
BAC Group Chief Executive Dr. Ernest Koranteng said the festival has grown beyond football into a celebration of the game and its community.

“It’s all about entertainment. We have to entertain and show ourselves to the public. It’s also an opportunity to mingle with the younger players and continue building relationships within the football fraternity.”
The 2026 All Star Festival will bring together former football stars, current players, celebrities and fans for a day of football and entertainment.

Tickets cost GH¢20 for regular admission and GH¢100 for premium access and are available through Egotickets.
The festival will also feature a children’s playground, a football clinic for young players, photo sessions with football stars, a schools match between PRESEC and Accra Academy SHS, the Sports Business Series, food and merchandise vendors, and the headline All-Star Game.
