England defender Marc Guehi has indicated that his team isn’t under pressure heading into its 2026 FIFA World Cup semifinal clash against Argentina.
He said this in the lead up to the big clash on Wednesday, July 15 in Atlanta where the Three Lions take on the defending World Champions.
England and Argentina rekindle their storied rivalry with a big chance to make it to the World Cup final for the first time since winning the tournament in 1966.
Speaking ahead of the game, the Manchester City player talked about the importance of the game but stated that England enter the contest with less pressure on them than Argentina.
“The pressure is on them, they are the world champions. It’s the game of your life. You have do what you can for your country” Guehi said.

The winner of the tie takes on Spain in the final after Spain beat France 2-0 to reach the FIFA World Cup final for the second time ever.
